Shisir Khanal, Nepal’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, held a bilateral meeting with S. Jaishankar in Port Louis, Port Louis, on the sidelines of the Indian Ocean Conference.
Khanal is currently in Mauritius to participate in the 9th edition of the conference being held from April 10 to 12.
During the meeting, Jaishankar congratulated Khanal on assuming office as Nepal’s foreign minister. The two leaders reviewed the longstanding and multifaceted relationship between Nepal and India.
They also held constructive and forward-looking discussions on issues of mutual interest and reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two neighbouring countries.
