The government has decided to form a task force to begin amending the constitution. Ashim Shah, Chief Political Advisor to Prime Minister Balendra Shah, will lead the task force.
According to the decision, representatives from various political parties will be invited to join the task force, ensuring broader participation in the amendment process.
Constitutional amendments have been a common agenda for most political parties during elections. However, parties have yet to formally respond to the government’s decision to establish the task force.
