China’s top legislator, Zhao Leji, on Sunday congratulated Dol Prasad Aryal on his election as Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nepal.
Zhao, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, said that China and Nepal are connected by mountains and rivers and have enjoyed generations of friendship. In recent years, high-level exchanges between the two countries have become increasingly frequent, and practical cooperation across various fields has delivered benefits to the peoples of both countries.
Zhao expressed his readiness to work with Aryal to advance friendly exchanges and cooperation between the National People’s Congress of China and the House of Representatives of Nepal, and to promote greater development of the China-Nepal strategic partnership of cooperation featuring everlasting friendship for development and prosperity.
