CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that he would not step down as a party president. Speaking at a party program, Oli said party has not made any decision regarding the party restructuring.
“There has been no decision by the Secretariat that the party should be reorganized. Nor is it the party’s current demand,” Oli said. “And then people write whatever they want on social media about decisions the party supposedly made. Those who do so will face disciplinary action.”
According to a senior party leader, Oli has been making similar arguments at almost every suggestion-collection program. Oli said that he has not made any mistake so he is not going to leave the party leadership.
