President Ramchandra Paudel has called a session of both houses of the Federal Parliament.
On Tuesday, President Paudel summoned the session to convene at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 11, at the Federal Parliament Building. According to Ritesh Kumar Shakya, spokesperson for the Office of the President, the session was called in accordance with Article 93, Clause 1 of the Constitution of Nepal.
Earlier today, a Cabinet meeting had decided to recommend the summoning of the parliamentary session. The government will present the budget during this session.
