Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has called on the public to remain confident that the upcoming election will be held on the scheduled date.
Speaking to journalists on Thursday after inspecting the ballot printing process at the Janak Education Materials Center, Prime Minister Karki said that the election would be conducted in a single phase and urged all concerned to remain assured.
She further expressed confidence that weather conditions across all geographical regions would be favorable during the election period, adding that all voters would be able to cast their ballots freely and without any hindrance. Nepal is holding elections on March 5.
