At the invitation of President Donald J. Trump, Chinese President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to the United States from September 23 to 25. The two presidents will exchange views on major issues concerning China-U.S. relations and world peace and development, said China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Chinese Foreign Ministry says:
“Head-of-state diplomacy provides irreplaceable strategic guidance to China-U.S. ties. The two presidents exchanging visits within six months is a historic milestone. China looks to enrich the constructive relationship of strategic stability, increase dialogue and cooperation, and properly manage differences with the U.S. to enhance the welfare of the two peoples and contribute to world peace, stability and prosperity.”
