Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation Deepak Khadka has addressed the fifth energy ministers’ meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states. Addressing the meeting held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China, on Thursday, Minister Khadka emphasized the need to create a regional framework and strengthen cooperation, making the framework more effective through innovative ideas for investment promotion and energy trade, with a view to the population, resources, and potentials of SCO member countries. In the meeting themed ‘Integrated Innovation for Energy Future’, Minister Khadka stressed the need for regional unity, cooperation, and collaboration among SCO member-states in promoting energy development, grid connectivity, innovation, and energy security.
