Nepal’s Supreme Court has ordered authorities to complete the investigation into former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and then Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak by April 9.
Both leaders are currently in police custody in connection with the September 8 protests. The order was issued by a joint bench of Justices Binod Sharma and Sunil Kumar Pokharel.
The court stated that if the investigation is not completed by the given deadline, both individuals must be released.
