The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the death of a Nepali national in an attack at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry on Monday, the concerned UAE authorities have confirmed the incident. The government condemned the loss of innocent lives and called on all parties involved in ongoing hostilities to ensure the safety, security, and protection of civilians.
The Ministry also stressed that the provisions of the Geneva Conventions and international humanitarian law must be fully respected and adhered to at all times.
Extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the government assured its commitment to providing all necessary support, including the repatriation of the deceased’s mortal remains.
