Balendra Shah, Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, has intensified political consultations in an effort to bring new political forces under a single umbrella. Over the past few days, he has been meeting with prominent figures from the Gen Z movement, leaders of the Nepali Congress, and representatives of newly formed political parties.
During these meetings, Mayor Shah has emphasized that emerging political parties should unite to challenge traditional political forces. As part of these consultations, he has met with Rastriya Swatantra Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane and Kul Man Ghising, who has recently formed his own political party.
