Bagmati province gets news chief minister

Indra Bahadur Baniya

Kathmnadu—Indra Bahadur Baniya has been appointed as a new chief minister of Bagmati province. He is the sixth chief minister since Nepal adopted federal structures in 2017 elections, signalizing the instability in the provinces. Province governor Deepak Prasad Devkot has administered oath of office and secrecy. Baniya is from Nepali Congress. He became chief minister remove his colleague Bahadur Singh Lama.
