Nepal’s health ministry seeks to recruit 2100 workforces

Nepal’s Ministry of Health and Population has said that it needs to recruit an additional 2100 healthcare professionals including doctors and nurses at the federal level to ensure the basic services.

The Ministry made such demand in a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel regarding the implementation of the current fiscal year 2025\ 2026.

According to RSS, Minister for Health and Population, Pradip Paudel, voiced the critical need for increasing the healthcare workforce to extend services to the province levels and to enhance the overall efficiency and quality of healthcare delivery.
