The Election Commission has said that voter turnout was around 60 percent in the March 5 elections.
Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari stated at a press conference held Thursday evening that 60 percent of the votes had been cast.
A total of 23,112 polling centers and 10,967 polling stations were designated across the country.
The Election Commission reported that about 60 percent of votes were cast.
This time, there were 18,903,689 voters in the election. In the previous election, 11,047,034 votes were cast, of which 10,560,082 were valid.
